Choice Number

You can avail a Fancy number of your choice for your vehicle at the time of registration of the motor vehicle as per the Maharashtra Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989.

  • Under MMVR 1989 R54 the applications for new VIP Numbers will be accepted at the respecting RTOs.
  • On grant of the VIP Numbers the applicant shall pay the prescribed fees on the same day or the following day during cash hours from 10:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.
  • If a particular registration number is sought by more than one applicant, the registration mark shall be allotted by way of auction.
  • Reservation for such numbers will be in force and will be valid for 30 days only.
  • All applications on plain paper will be accepted at R.T.O.’s main office for the Non-Transport Series.
